About
The Brand
AARYAH is a jewelry brand focused on empowering women by bringing a fresh perspective to the bridal jewelry space. We strive to create one-of-a-kind pieces that highlight the individuality of the wearer through unconventional cuts, unique settings, and rare natural diamonds.
Our female-forward designs are thoughtfully crafted for everyday wear with practicality in mind. We leverage generational expertise and a strategic partnership with our in-house diamond wholesaler to find exceptionally cut natural diamonds, while fostering trust with our customers through transparency, social media education, and creating a welcoming space for women to explore and learn.
Since its launch, AARYAH has been featured in top publications like Vogue, Brides, The Knot, and Harper’s Bazaar, and has been worn by celebrities including Miley Cyrus and Taylor Swift.
AARYAH crafts each piece in the heart of New York City’s Diamond District and offers a luxury showroom for private appointments with an AARYAH bridal stylist.
I was always inspired by the magic of the earth, the elements, people, and culture that breathes life into it. I wanted to translate everything that inspired me growing up into my work, to create pieces that felt powerful, looked beautiful, and told a unique story.

Megan Kothari, Founder
Megan Kothari, the creative force and founder of AARYAH, grew up in a family of diamond wholesalers, learning the business from her father and grandfather at an early age.
Shortly after graduating from the Fashion Institute of Technology (FIT) in NYC, Megan followed her entrepreneurial instincts and launched AARYAH as a passion project in late 2015, while working her full-time global brand marketing job at beauty powerhouse L'Oréal before transitioning to her subsequent role at Estée Lauder.
In Sanskrit, "ARYA" (आर्य) is a sacred term which means rare & precious.
Megan secured Amazon-owned e-tailer Shopbop as one of AARYAH’s first stockists, running the brand as a side project until 2020. When the pandemic hit, Megan began helping friends source and design their engagement rings, and recognized a huge gap in the bridal jewelry market. She noticed women lacked options when it came to engagement rings, ending up with pieces that were not reflective of their own individuality.
Strongly addressing this gap in the market led to major growth in the company and an organic pivot in her business, moving towards creating engagement rings that prioritized design and quality to reflect the individuality of today’s women.
"I want to inspire women to be a part of their engagement ring process.” - Megan Kothari, Founder
